Drink Tea Fight Monsters is a roguelike deckbuilder where players ascend three distinct mountains while managing a deck that includes items like forged iron, braided cord, and beast companions. The goal is to navigate through the challenges each mountain presents while returning to a village between climbs. Players must make strategic choices about which zones to enter, weighing encounters against potential rewards.

Mountain zones

The game features three mountains, each with unique environments: Gold Mountain offers tea terraces and kilns, Silver Mountain has flooded bridges, and Lone Mountain is filled with wind-bent pines. As players choose a path, they encounter various branching routes that include fights, shrines, shops, and treasures. Each zone may face destruction from raiders, creating a sense of urgency in decision-making.
