Ashplate

Ashplate on PC

Ashplate is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder about the Emperor’s sworn guard, now called the Fallen Kiln. After a traitor kills the Emperor and takes his throne, you choose a route across a branching map, fight with cards and build a different deck each run as you head back toward the throne.

Survivors and combat

The Kilnborn sets each foe he strikes on fire. The Skirmisher, a crystal duelist, avoids blows and counters. More survivors join in the full game. In fights, enemies have their own tricks: some heads must be silenced, some foes send venom through Block, and one duel must begin with an Attack. You read enemy intents and plan your turn around them.
