Spell Death

Letter-based roguelike

Spell Death is an art-deco roguelike deckbuilder for PC. Instead of drawing cards, you draw letters and build words. You cast spells by spelling words associated with spell-casting, then use them to fight the demons that run an illiterate city.

Words and spells

The central choice is what words to make from the letters you draw: words replace the card combos found in a conventional deckbuilder, and spelling a spell-casting word casts a spell. Your crusade pits you against whatever the city throws at you. The city is run by demons.
