Price Alerts
Never miss a deal again. Set up price alerts to get notified when games drop to your target price.
How Price Alerts Work
ReadyGame offers two flexible alert options that can be used independently or together:
Option 1: Target Price Alert
Get notified when the price drops to or below your specified target price.
Example: Current price is $59.99. You set a target price of $29.99. You'll be notified when the price drops to $29.99 or lower.
Option 2: Price Drop Alert
Get notified whenever the price drops by a specified amount from any price point.
Example: Current price is $59.99. You set a drop threshold of $10. You'll be notified when:
- Price drops from $59.99 to $49.99 or lower (first drop of $10+)
- Price drops from $49.99 to $39.99 or lower (another drop of $10+)
- And so on for each significant price drop
Combining Both Options (OR Logic)
You can enable both options at once. When both are enabled, you'll be notified when either condition is met:
Example: Current price is $59.99. You set:
- Target price: $29.99
- Drop threshold: $15
You'll be notified when:
- The price drops to $29.99 or lower, OR
- The price drops by $15 or more from any point
This means you won't miss a good deal even if it doesn't quite reach your target price!

|---|---|---|

Important: Your target price must be lower than the current price.
Step 5: Advanced Settings (Optional)
- Only notify when item is in stock: Skip alerts for out-of-stock deals
- Exclude stores: Don't get alerts from specific retailers
Step 6: Save and Wait
Click "Create alert" and we'll monitor prices 24/7. You'll receive an email when a matching deal is found.

Alert Tips
Be Realistic
Check the price history to set a realistic target. If a game has never dropped below $30, setting a $10 alert might mean waiting a very long time.
Watch for Patterns
Many games go on sale during:
- Steam seasonal sales (Summer, Winter)
- Black Friday / Cyber Monday
- PlayStation/Xbox sales events
- Publisher anniversary sales
- Game awards season
Use Both Options Together
For games you really want, enable both options:
- A realistic target price you'd be happy to pay
- A drop threshold to catch unexpected flash sales
Notification Settings
Control how you receive notifications in your account settings:
- Email notifications
- Price alert frequency
