Two demons in one building

The Devil’s Work is a PC co-op sabotage game about two minor demons manipulating the residents of a twelve-flat apartment building. Play online with a friend, share one screen in local split-screen co-op, or play alone and switch between the demons. Neither demon can directly harm anyone or force them to act. Instead, you set up situations and let the residents make their own choices.

Two ways to interfere

The Inner Demon works inside the building after dark. It slips through doors, moves objects and plants forgeries, but can’t survive daylight. The Outer Demon works outdoors, in places such as the street, market and park. Their work depends on passing items through dead drops: one demon leaves something, and the other collects it. You can’t simply hand items from one to the other.
