Game overview

Shardkeep is a run-based roguelike that combines puzzle mechanics with turn-based combat on a gem board. Players face enemies that telegraph their moves but also alter the board, introducing obstacles like frost that locks gems or rocks that block lines. Success in battles involves matching four or more gems to maintain turns and managing a spellbook instead of a deck.

Combat and mechanics

Each of the three acts features its own tyrant and set of challenges, requiring players to navigate from the gloom of the Vault through the Molten Undercroft to the crystal court of the Facet Crown. Combat revolves around making strategic decisions based on visible enemy intents, allowing you to execute maneuvers that lead to cascading combos.
