Tessera

Game premise and objective

Tessera is a match-3 and falling-block hybrid roguelike for PC that combines puzzle mechanics with combat elements. You engage in battles by manipulating gems on a board to create tetrominoes, which then drop onto another board to confront an enemy. Every line you clear contributes to attacking the monster, and using the enemy's elemental weakness doubles the damage dealt.

Match-3 mechanics

In the match-3 section, you swap five different elemental gems: fire, water, wood, earth, and metal. Matching four gems of the same type forges a tetromino in an exact shape. Precision is crucial, as aligning five gems in a row activates a powerful ultimate ability.
