Serpent City is a turn-based board game about competing for influence. You build an economy, trade resources and fight rivals while trying to control territory and contest the capital. The available moves are easy to understand, but each choice can affect what you earn and control later.

Dice, territory and income

Two dice determine your movement points each turn. You divide those points among your pieces, then choose where to establish a presence. Holding territory, constructing buildings and competing for the capital all increase your influence. The decisions weigh immediate rewards against future income: you can invest in a position or use your resources to pursue a more immediate gain.
