In Root, a digital adaptation of the beloved tabletop board game, players engage in strategic battles for dominance in a vibrant, contested woodland. This strategy game accommodates 2 to 4 players, each vying for control over a lush environment teeming with resource potential. The stage is set with the ambitious Marquise de Cat leveraging her industrial might against an alliance of fierce woodland creatures, creating a narrative where cunning and strength collide.

Choose Your Faction and Strategy

With three distinct factions (the Marquise de Cat, the Eyrie Dynasties, and the Woodland Alliance) each player must carefully consider their approach. The Marquise, an industrial force, focuses on building infrastructure and managing resources. Meanwhile, the Eyrie Dynasties, featuring various leaders with different abilities, must reclaim their lost dominance by strategizing territory capture and maintaining order among their ranks. The Woodland Alliance strikes back through guerrilla tactics, rallying support to undermine tyrannical rule.
