Orendral: After the Sundering is a MUD-style text RPG set in a world of rival cities, dangerous roads, independent adventurers, and abandoned ruins. On PC, you play through a classic desktop client by reading text and typing commands. There’s no game server: other adventurers and party members are simulated characters, not people playing online.

Building a life in Orendral

Choose a race and class, learn abilities through lessons, and improve your equipment. You can pledge allegiance to a city or House and follow its advancement stories, investigate smaller troubles along the roads, or spend time hunting and exploring. A searchable HELP manual and progressive quest hints are available as you play.
