Skald: Against the Black Priory

A Dark Journey Awaits in SKALD: Against the Black Priory

In SKALD: Against the Black Priory, players are thrust into a grim narrative that begins with the haunting tug of the ocean. As you drag yourself from the tides onto the forbidding shores of Idra, your mission becomes clear: survival amidst a backdrop of eldritch horrors. This PC game pays homage to roleplaying games of the past, blending modern gameplay dynamics with retro 8-bit visuals and captivating storytelling.

Assemble Your Company of Heroes

Strategically leading a band of broken heroes forms the crux of your adventure. The game emphasizes turn-based combat, allowing players to choose between cleaving, blasting, or employing stealth against a variety of threatening foes. A rich inventory system and detailed quest logs ensure you’re equipped to tackle each challenge. If combat becomes too steep, an auto-resolve option grants an escape route to avoid the fray entirely.
