Lazare's Sacrifice

Card duels in Carmes Prison

Lazare's Sacrifice is a tactical card game for PC set during the French Revolution. You play General Lazare Hoche, betrayed and imprisoned in Carmes Prison, where you face historical characters in card duels. Win to survive another night and learn more about the conspiracy behind your imprisonment; lose, and you face the guillotine at dawn.

Building your deck

The game has four factions to master. After defeating an opponent, you can claim cards from their deck to strengthen your own. You can also search the prison for hidden cards and items, which can change the odds in a duel. Deckbuilding is tied to survival: the cards you take from defeated inmates become part of your strategy for facing the next opponent.
