What is Laryen?

Laryen is a free-to-play 2.5D isometric MMORPG set in a post-apocalyptic world where AI and machines have taken control. Players take on the role of Reclaimers, human survivors who transform into cyborgs to take back cities around the globe from robotic enemies. The game focuses on real-time combat and allows for worldwide exploration, providing access to a variety of combat zones.

Combat and enemies

Combat in the game involves manually fighting various robotic enemy archetypes, including drones and powerful bosses. There are 67 different types of machines, each with unique behaviors and attack patterns. Players can choose their battles carefully, selecting when to fight and when to retreat. The game also includes the option for auto-attack, which allows the cyborg to engage nearby monsters without manual input, while still presenting choices in where to hunt and travel.
