A dice-based roguelike

Journey to the West: Dice & Destiny is a single-player, turn-based roguelike for PC. You play as Sun Wukong, traveling through Black Wind Mountain, White Bone Ridge, and the Flaming Mountains across three acts of Chinese fantasy. Your starting bag holds eight six-sided dice, and you use their faces to attack, defend, charge powers, copy faces, or summon monkey companions.

Rolls and combat

Before acting, you can see the enemies’ revealed intentions. You decide which useful faces to lock, when to reroll, and the order to use your moves. Dice faces have different values and effects, and stronger options can come with a cost: some share a die with harmful faces that cause backlash or add temporary cursed dice to the battle.
