A print-shop jigsaw game

Impression Cabinet is a PC jigsaw puzzle game about inheriting a small print workshop and a cabinet of uncatalogued prints. Each print starts as a Working Proof on the puzzle table. You sort and move its pieces around the workspace, assemble sections away from the board, rotate pieces, and put the image back together. Finish a puzzle and the completed print is revealed and filed in the Cabinet.

Pieces and difficulty

You can choose 12, 24, 48, 96, or 192 pieces, along with one of several authored Piece Styles, which use different piece shapes and visual rhythms. Pieces can be placed anywhere in the workspace, connected into movable clusters, and rotated freely or in exact 90-degree steps. You can remove placed pieces, and save a puzzle to continue later.
