When The Past Was Around

A Bittersweet Journey of Love and Loss: When The Past Was Around

When The Past Was Around is a poignant adventure point-and-click puzzle game that invites players into the emotional landscape of Eda, a young woman navigating the complexities of love and the bittersweet nature of memories. Developed by Brigitta Rena, the game immerses you in a surreal, hand-drawn world that beautifully illustrates the theme of letting go and rediscovering oneself.

An Artful Narrative Experience

Unconventional in its storytelling, this game relies on striking, hand-drawn visuals rather than dialogue to convey its narrative. This artistic choice allows players to engage with Eda’s journey on a more personal level. Each scene flows seamlessly into the next, creating a visual tapestry that tells the story of love, heartache, and self-discovery, all set against a backdrop that feels both whimsical and deeply touching.
