A plant-growing incremental game

Growback is a PC incremental game about developing a single plant above and below the soil. You click to collect energy and reserves, then spend those resources on upgrades for its shoots and roots. You can follow growth above ground or scroll below the soil to see the roots spread.

Shoots and roots

Upgrades include broader leaves, lateral roots and mycorrhiza. Photosynthesis and root hairs produce resources automatically while the game is running, alongside the resources you collect by clicking. You decide which parts of the plant to improve, and its pixel-art stems, leaves, roots and flowers grow as you progress.
