Forestry on a river

Floatwood is a PC forestry business game about moving timber downstream to sell it. You start with one axe, fell trees by clicking, pull logs from the water, split firewood and push it to the buyer in a wheelbarrow. As the business grows, you hire lumberjacks and buy equipment to handle more of the work.

Logs and bottlenecks

The river is part of the work, not just a route for deliveries. Thousands of logs are simulated individually: they bob, bump into one another and drift with the current. Narrow stretches can form jams, as can a backed-up wood yard. You can clear blockages yourself with a pike pole or hire raftsmen to pole out and break them up.
