Game overview

GearTopia is a resource management simulation game where you control a dwarf tasked with running a factory on a two-dimensional map. The player's objective is to supply five fortresses with resources, preventing goblins from reaching your factory. You manage water, steam, and machinery to extract ores, process them, and fulfill the fortresses' orders. The game is set in a world where traditional electricity does not exist, and machinery operates on mechanical systems.

Resource management

You collect resources by setting up and maintaining a factory that runs on water, brass, steam, and rivets. Players are required to build infrastructure like water wheels, drills, and conveyor belts to transport ores to the furnace. The factory expands downward, as space on the surface is limited quickly. As you progress, managing the complex interactions of water flow, power transmission, and resource supply becomes crucial to maintaining production.
