Campaign and setting

Board Tactica I is a turn-based strategy game for PC set in a contested medieval world. You choose an allegiance, develop cities, raise armies, and fight rival forces for control of the map. Campaign decisions connect city resources and army upkeep with the need to commit troops to the front.

Armies and battles

Before a battle, recruit infantry, cavalry, ranged troops, and support units, then arrange their formation. You can combine different unit strengths or build a specialized army. Battles take place on illustrated, grid-based wooden boards, where you spend command points to move and attack. Positioning, terrain, and morale all affect how each turn unfolds.
