Rune-based roguelite

Runecaster's Grimoire is a turn-based roguelite for PC where you cast spells by arranging runes into poker patterns and power them with living spellbooks. Each turn, you draw runes ranked 1 to 9 and marked Fire, Ice, Curse or Arcane. Choose up to five to form a pattern, such as a pair, straight, flush or full house. Spell damage is calculated as Power × Mult.

Runes and tomes

Each rune you cast strikes the matching rank column in your tome bag, activating the tomes placed there at full strength. You arrange 71 tomes on a grid, dragging and rotating them to build column synergies, use merge recipes and expand the bag with new pieces. Runes can be enhanced, sealed or gilded, while scrolls, sigil circles and forbidden pages let you bend the rules.
