It was founded by Jimb Esser in the neighbourhood of Campbell in San Jose, California. Jimb Esser has been professionally developing online multiplayer games since 2003, having been a senior engineer with Cryptic Studios working on games including City of Heroes, Star Trek Online and Neverwinter Online. Later he was a co-founder at Cloud Party, a cutting edge virtual world right in your web browser, which was successfully acquired by Yahoo. Dashing Strike is the home of his now full-time independent game development efforts.
