Yomi 2

The Card-Based Fighting Mechanics of Yomi 2

Yomi 2 redefines traditional fighting games by transforming them into an engaging card experience. Inspired by renowned titles like Street Fighter and Fantasy Strike, each match revolves around strategic card play where players learn their characters’ abilities and anticipate opponents’ moves. With every card representing a different action (whether it's attacks, blocks, or special abilities) the game creates a blend of tactical decisions and real-time combat intuition.

Strategic Hand Management in Combat

Managing your hand is crucial in Yomi 2. Players must balance their offensive and defensive options while considering the dynamic game mechanics. Each turn allows an exchange of a card between your hand and your discard pile, a feature that makes the Fighting System Exchange particularly compelling. This mechanic encourages players to think ahead: will you focus on bolstering your combos or fortifying your defenses?
