Yomi 2 - PS5

Yomi 2: Fight Your Way to the Top

In Yomi 2, a fighting card game on the PS5, players will engage in strategic combat that replicates the excitement of traditional fighting games like Street Fighter and Fantasy Strike. Developed by a lead designer from those classics, Yomi takes a unique approach to the fighting genre by using a card system to determine moves. You must master your character, anticipate your opponent's actions, and perfectly time your combos to seize victory.

Card-Based Combat Mechanics

The core of Yomi 2 lies in its card-driven gameplay. Each player's hand consists of attack, block, throw, dodge, and special ability cards, each with its own strategic implications. For instance, throws counter blocks, creating a rock-paper-scissors dynamic that encourages players to read their opponent's moves. Managing your hand effectively is critical, keeping options open for future turns while aiming to assemble powerful combos adds layers to every encounter.
