RBM Studio's Gettysburg

Command Historical Forces in RBM Studio's Gettysburg

In RBM Studio's Gettysburg, players command either Confederate or Union forces in one of the deadliest battles of the U.S. Civil War. This strategy game offers a foray into tactical warfare, blending historical detail with engaging mechanics that invoke classic wargaming board games of the 70s and 80s. Set against a backdrop of historical accuracy, players can attempt to rewrite the course of history by effectively managing their units and resources.

Navigating the Hexagonal Battlefield

The game utilizes a hexagonal map to replicate the experience of traditional board gaming. Players maneuver markers that represent their units, striving to pin down the enemy while maintaining flexibility for their own actions. Turn-based mechanics follow an "I go, you go" system, demanding strategic thinking as players alternate turns. This approach allows for calculated maneuvers but introduces a risk factor when a player chooses to pass early, potentially leaving themselves vulnerable to enemy advances.
