Game premise and mechanics

Moonlight Chess is a turn-based auto-battler tactics game where players build an army to face waves of enemies. You deploy units on a gridded battlefield, where units fight automatically based on your strategic decisions regarding positioning and tactics. Each turn, you choose from a set of cards to purchase new units and determine where to place them on the field.

Diverse environments

The game features three distinct locations: frozen wastes, dense forests, and gloomy swamps. Each of these worlds presents different challenges and requires you to adapt your strategy as you encounter various enemy factions such as orcs, undead, and demons. The setting emphasizes the need to come up with new tactics to successfully navigate through these environments and defeat your foes.
