Layer Section & Galactic Attack: Classic Vertical Shooter Revived

Layer Section & Galactic Attack S-Tribute brings a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of vertical shooters. Originally released in 1995 by Taito, this title melds the arcade essence of RayForce with modern conveniences, allowing players to step into the cockpit of X-LAY, a versatile mobile weapon. With its lock-on laser mechanics and fierce battles against the Con-Human system, the game emphasizes a straightforward yet captivating approach to aerial combat.

Dive Into the Lock-On Laser Mechanics

At the heart of Layer Section is its iconic lock-on laser system, which differentiates it from traditional shooters. Players can target up to eight enemies simultaneously, unleashing devastating attacks that can significantly boost your score. Mastering this ability not only makes gameplay exhilarating but also offers chances to rack up impressive point multipliers, up to 128x for taking down eight foes in one shot. Effective use of these lasers is crucial for aspiring high scorers in this competitive environment.
