Layer Section & Galactic Attack S-Tribute - Xbox One

Layer Section & Galactic Attack: A Retro Shooter Revival

Layer Section & Galactic Attack S-Tribute revitalizes classic vertical shooting action on the Xbox One. Originally released in 1995 by Taito, this bundle includes the beloved arcade adaptation of RayForce and its overseas counterpart, Galactic Attack. Players take control of X-LAY, a powerful mobile weapon equipped with innovative lock-on lasers to fend off the menacing Con-Human system, positioning this game as a nostalgic trip for fans and a fresh challenge for newcomers.

Lock-On Lasers: Mastering the Mechanic

At the heart of Layer Section lies its signature lock-on lasers. This unique mechanic allows players to target multiple enemies simultaneously, locking onto up to eight foes and unleashing a devastating barrage. Achieving a perfect strike on all targets results in a 128x scoring multiplier, making every encounter a thrilling opportunity for high scores. The strategy lies in positioning and timing, pushing players to perfect their technique and optimize each attack.
