High-Speed Heritage of the Class 91

Originally developed as part of the Advanced Passenger Train (APT) project, the Class 91 made its debut in 1988, serving high-speed routes between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh Waverley. This locomotive, with its innovative all-steel body and body-mounted motors, was crafted to handle speeds of 225 km/h (140 mph). Though real services operate at 125 mph (201 km/h) due to track limitations, players may sometimes push the speedometer to its designed limit to make up time.
