Fire and Maneuver | Expansion: Boshin War

What the Boshin War expansion adds

Boshin War is an expansion for Fire and Maneuver that introduces new strategy elements set during the conflict in Japan from 1868 to 1869. The addition focuses on the transition from samurai warfare to modern military tactics, mirroring the changes seen in the Victorian Era.

New mechanics and adaptations

Players must navigate a battlefield impacted by the shift from traditional arms like muskets to more advanced weaponry, including rifles and Gatling guns. This requires adapting strategies to handle the evolving forms of combat, reflecting a greater emphasis on tactical decision-making during battles.
