In ZIQ, players are thrust into a frenetic, arcade runner experience filled with peril at every turn. Your mission is to navigate through a series of treacherous obstacle courses while enduring constant heckling from a spiteful AI named Swarm. Here, the gameplay revolves around polarity-switching mechanics that allow you to overcome barriers and exploit weaknesses in your environment. The stakes are high, and mistakes lead to a swift demise, but each death reveals the path to improvement.

Polarity Mechanics Take Center Stage

That's where ZIQ's defining feature comes in, polarity switching. By changing your character's polarity, you can safely pass through obstacles or even demolish them. This unique mechanic is crucial for scoring high on global leaderboards. There are over 25 challenging obstacles in total, creating a myriad of possible combinations that keep each run exciting and unpredictable. Mastering these mechanics will propel you through the game’s seven themed, procedurally-generated stages.
