Zero Division transports players to Zerzura, a city ravaged by conflict between Artificial General Intelligences (AGIs). Once a vibrant metropolis, it now lies in ruins, protected by an Exclusion Zone established by mega-corporations. They assert it’s for public safety against AGI anomalies while secretly hoarding valuable salvage. Players must navigate this treacherous environment, filled with unique challenges and fierce adversaries.

Assemble Your Diverse Team of Operators

Creating a formidable crew is crucial in Zero Division. Choose three operators from a pool of nine, each fitting into one of three core archetypes: Guardian, Assault, or Specialist. Players can take a standard approach with one of each type or mix and match for unconventional strategies. With no single protagonist, any operator can shine under the right conditions, enabling creativity in gameplay.

Engage in Tactical Combat with Card Decks

Combat flows through a CCG-inspired deck-building system. Each operator possesses a unique deck that includes at least eight signature cards, with an additional twelve customizable slots. Players must carefully construct their decks, with a requirement of 20 cards minimum. Understanding synergies and exploiting weaknesses in their opponent’s defenses is essential for success in tough encounters.

Challenge Dynamic Boss Battles

Zero Division features thrilling multi-phase boss encounters reminiscent of MMO raid challenges. Tackle colossal foes like the Siegebreaker, a formidable mech, or face the terrifying Mithraean Bull, an unintended creation gone horribly wrong. Players will also defend strategic points, such as rooftops, from well-armed gunships. Each encounter requires strategic ingenuity, as boss mechanics demand adaptability and teamwork.

Explore Diverse Districts in Campaign Mode

The campaign mode takes players on a journey across six shattered districts, culminating in the ominous Wargentin District. Each area offers unique challenges and enemies, demanding skillful navigation and strategic planning. The progression through the districts not only tests players' tactical abilities but also unveils a deeper story set against the backdrop of Zerzura's Collapse.

Draft Your Way to Victory Against Increasing Danger

In addition to the campaign, Zero Division features a Draft Mode where players start with an assortment of data shards. Unsealing these shards allows players to draft their card decks, setting the stage for battles against escalating bosses. This mode emphasizes strategic decision-making, as players must balance their deck construction with the unpredictability of randomized threats.

Progress with Mnemosynth for Lasting Enhancements

As players engage with the world of Zerzura, they'll accumulate Mnemosynth, a resource that allows for permanent enhancements to their decks. Through the Failsafe system, players can imprint new cards, ensuring that each run enhances their gameplay experience. This meta-progression system encourages players to optimize their decks, providing a tangible sense of growth and accomplishment as they tackle increasingly difficult challenges.
