Four-player online co-op

Worst Lifeguards is a co-op game for PC, designed for up to four players. You work alongside three friends to act as lifeguards on a chaotic beach filled with tourists who don’t want to be saved. Each player can take on one of four roles: the Tower, the Swimmer, the Jetski, or the Medic. All roles interact with a real physics system that affects how you can rescue swimmers.

Core mechanics

The game centers around responding to lifeguard emergencies in a turbulent ocean. Tourists panic, swim in the wrong direction, or make poor decisions, requiring you to strategize your approach to rescue them. You’ll be dealing with real world physics, meaning waves can affect the position of swimmers or objects in the water. You can try to tow swimmers back to safety, but even successful rescues can be complicated when a wave pulls them further out.
