Wok in Another World is a PC action game about a master Chinese chef reborn as Milia, a catgirl running a diner on the magical continent of Essoln. You head into shifting dungeons to fight monsters and collect ingredients, then return to the village to research recipes, cook for customers and upgrade the restaurant.

Combat and ingredients

Dungeon combat is top-down hack-and-slash. Cleavers, frying pans and spatulas have different attacks, while dodges and counters let you respond to monster wind-ups. You can loot chests, spice piles and monster drops, but you need to reach the exit to keep your haul. Falling in a dungeon costs you what you collected.
