Card-based combat

Wizard Warrior is a pixel-art roguelike deckbuilder for PC, where you fight through a changing road using spells, weapons and shields. Each turn, you draw five cards but have only three actions, so you choose which two to leave unplayed. Spells spend mana; weapons and shields spend stamina.

Combat is built around previews rather than target selection. Hover over a card to see its description and how its attack will resolve. Enemies that will lose health show their damage, enemies that will die are marked “FALLS,” and the preview also shows where statuses land. Foes announce their next move and damage in advance, and hovering over one reveals what the move does and who it hits first.
