A physics-driven roguelite

Wishknot is a PC action roguelite set in an endless wishing well. You descend through caverns using a rope to swing, snare creatures, tow objects and redirect your momentum with thrust. Enemies and things caught on the rope can become anchors or weapons, while a well-timed release can launch you past danger.

Rope and momentum

Combat is built around the rope’s physical interactions with mass, tension, collisions and terrain. Tow an anvil into a fight, drag a hostile creature into an attack, or use the environment to open a route. You can preserve speed with precise releases and spend it on a heavy impact. Noise draws attention, and enemies can merge into larger threats, so you can try to slip by quietly or make a noisy entrance.
