Surviving the Closing Window in Windowkill

In Windowkill, an experimental twin-stick shooter for PC, players are thrust into a chaotic world where the game window itself becomes a menacing barrier. As you navigate through relentless waves of enemies, you’ll need to manage the ever-shifting environment around you. This mechanic ties into the overall gameplay experience and forces you to rethink spatial awareness and movement in ways you've never considered.

Maneuvering the Play Area

No ordinary shooter, Windowkill utilizes your screen as the primary play area, pushing the boundaries of what players expect from the genre. Enemies flood your periphery, and the constant retraction of the window heightens the urgency. If the edges close in too fast, it’s game over, no second chances. Your precision and quick thinking are paramount as the boundaries press ever closer, making each session uniquely challenging.
