What Is Death?

Explore the Question of Mortality in 死とは何か？

In 死とは何か？, a contemplative visual novel for PC, players are invited to engage with profound questions surrounding death and existence. Set against the backdrop of a distant cemetery, the game revolves around the conversations between the protagonist and the town's enigmatic gravekeeper. Instead of providing clear-cut answers, the narrative encourages reflection on life's transient nature, making it an exploration of both philosophy and human emotion.

Conversations that Challenge Perspectives on Life

The gravekeeper serves as both a guide and a provocateur, leading players through discussions that spark existential inquiries. As she shares her outlook on life and death, players will find themselves immersed in the complexities of mortality. Each interaction prompts you to confront the anxieties that have plagued humanity throughout the ages. Questions surface: Why must we die? What lies beyond the grave?
