FPV flight training

webFPV is a PC FPV drone simulator built around the flight-controller code used by real racing quads. It runs that open-source firmware against a physics model of a 710-gram 6S five-inch quad and a 65 mm whoop. Rates, PIDs, filters, feedforward, anti-gravity and airmode use the firmware’s own settings, so you can work on a tune that also makes sense on a real quad.

Lessons and licences

The training is organized into 73 lessons across 16 chapters. You start with a hover, holding a box and landing on a pad in Angle mode, then progress through rings, figure eights and slaloms. Later lessons introduce Acro mode, banked turns, progressively narrower gaps, flips and rolls, gates, racing lines and freestyle tricks.
