Build the island

We Roll at Dawn is a PC action roguelite tower-defense game about building a floating island and protecting its Sacred Tree. Each run starts with a small patch of land and a roll of the Dawn Die. During the day, that roll sets how many tiles you can add. You decide where to expand and which terrain to use for towers, shaping the routes and defenses you'll rely on at night.

Grass, stone, gravel, sand, jungle, water, snow, lava, dark, and crystal tiles give their towers different attacks and effects. Some towers fire quickly or deal area damage; others slow, freeze, poison, root, chain, or curse enemies. The terrain you choose determines how your defenses work, while the island’s layout determines where enemies approach and how much time towers have to attack.
