What the game is

Waymark is a puzzle and deckbuilding game for PC that combines scenic puzzles with strategic spellcasting. Players fill a travel journal by solving puzzles based on famous landmarks while battling monsters encountered during their journey. The objective is to gather souvenirs from each city visit and piece together a collection of memorable locations.

Puzzle mechanics

In the game, you draw puzzle pieces from an album, which represent segments of iconic scenes. You can rotate and move these pieces to fit them into a cohesive image. Each action requires planning around your available energy, so you must consider how to position pieces efficiently while making room for new ones as the puzzle progresses.
