Programming the hive
WaxWire: Program the Hive is a visual programming game for PC about running a bee colony. You don’t steer individual bees; you build programs from nodes, connect them with wires, then press Run. A simple routine can tell a bee to find the nearest flower, fly there, sip nectar and return home. You can rewire a program while the bees are working.
The game has more than 140 nodes for decisions, loops, memory, events and reusable methods. As the Queen issues Decrees, you tackle new programming ideas and earn rewards to spend on nodes that let bees sense, decide and do more.
