The core mechanics of WaveTiles hinge on two distinct characters: the Explorer and the Spirit. As Explorer, one player navigates the terrain, focusing on reaching the finish line. Meanwhile, the Spirit spawns Waves of energy across the grid, activating Tiles and crafting pathways of adventure.
