A logic puzzle in a sealed library

Wardbreaker is a PC logic-puzzle game set in a library where every door has sealed behind the archivist, who went to repair a failing ward eleven days ago. Her apprentice Wren enters through the coal door with candles and ash. The archivist’s owl, Minesweeper, checks your work as you clear rooms.

Open cells you can prove are safe and bind cells you can prove are wards. A wrong bind puts out a candle, and the run ends when the last candle goes out. Every board has a solution you can reach with logic, so guessing isn’t required.
