A night in Ward Nine

Ward Nine is a first-person psychological horror game for PC, set in a state asylum that closed in 1982. In October 1991, you have one night to find five patient files somewhere in the building and reach the exit. A figure in a warden’s uniform is still there, and you can’t fight it.

Hiding from the Warden

The Warden patrols, investigates and searches, and doesn’t lose interest. When it finds you, you need to get out of its line of sight or hide in a locker. Holding your breath, you listen for its footsteps as it passes, or stops nearby. There are no weapons or combat options, so avoiding the Warden is the only way to stay alive.
