Risking Flesh in the Underworld

In this dark world, death comes with a cost. Most of the time, losing your character simply means a temporary flesh wound. You return with borrowed bones. However, choosing to light your candle establishes a checkpoint at a higher price: if you die after, you cannot respawn. Your remains linger in the depths, awaiting rescue from fellow players who can retrieve your skull and bring you back to the surface. It’s a gamble every time you venture out.
