Very Tasty Story is a PC cooking game where each run drops you into a random real place on Earth. You discover local ingredients and customers, then develop dishes to meet their requests. Locations can range from an ancient walled city or a steppe settlement to a country town or global metropolis.

The base game includes one coin, which covers several runs and about 2.5 to 4 hours of play in total. When the coin runs out, you can't start another run unless you buy a new coin in the in-game shop for the same price as the base game. A run already in progress can be finished.
