VEKARRA

A descent into the Abyss

VEKARRA is a tactical roguelite for PC about a company of four adventurers descending beneath the fishing town of Vekarra. Mines and pilgrim caves lead into the Abyss, and each expedition can end with fallen heroes or a full-party wipe. You choose routes through seeded maps, where battles, elites, camps, shops, treasure, narrative events and biome bosses shape the run.

Timing each fight

Combat turns on a timeline. Enemies choose a move, lock it in and charge toward executing it. You use a two-stage ATB system to read that timing and interrupt attacks before they land. There’s no mana: powerful skills instead run on cooldown cycles, so deciding when to use them is part of managing the fight.
