Unsound

The descent

Unsound is a PC puzzle game set in a student dormitory that becomes harder to make sense of as you descend. Your goal is to leave the facility, and the only way down is through its floors. Corridors loop back on themselves, the building grows filthy and dim, and places appear that aren’t on any floor plan.

Finding the way down

Each floor has its own route down, and the puzzles differ from floor to floor. You examine rooms and objects, read what people left behind, and compare details for clues. You can combine clues, but the game doesn’t mark objectives or keep a quest log. You have to work out what matters and where to go next from what you find in the building.
