Under The Waves

Grief Takes Center Stage in Under The Waves

Under The Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game set against the melancholic backdrop of the North Sea. Players follow Stan, a professional diver haunted by a life-changing loss, as he navigates the depths of his grief. The techno-futuristic 1970s aesthetic envelops players in a world where isolation and introspection manifest through breathtaking underwater exploration and events that challenge Stan’s fragile psyche.

Uncovering Personal Narratives Beneath the Surface

The game explores the theme of self-discovery through a gripping story told from Stan's perspective. As he traverses the ocean's depths, players witness his emotional journey, laden with haunting memories. Each encounter in the underwater expanse serves as a reflection of his inner turmoil. The narrative encourages players to question whether Stan can confront his past and rise to the surface once more.
